Dr. Sabari Haviland, DVM graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She has been in practice previously in the Puyallup area before transitioning here to Avenue Veterinary Clinic. She is excited to be here and to provide excellent veterinary care to the community.

Dr. Powell has over 25 years in the veterinary field, having graduated with top honors from the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. Although she's originally from Canada, she's very excited to be residing in Washington state with her family and pets. Dr. Powell likes to travel with her family, she enjoys boating and fishing, and she loves the arts. With all these interests, she is very happy to be living and working in the Tacoma area.

After a childhood of animal obsession, Jordan found her passion in veterinary medicine in 2015. She joined the AVC team shortly after opening in 2017 quickly making it her home away from home. When she's not working, you can find her trying to keep up with her two energetic boys or loving on one of her many animals of all shapes and sizes.

Since 2008 Shannon has been rocking the veterinary world, luckily Shannon joined Avenue Vet in 2021 and has been a staple at the front desk here. In her free time she enjoys thrifting and hanging out with her 3 boys. She has one dog, Zola, and three cats waiting for her at home that she adores. 

Tifani has been in the Veterinary field since 2016. She has experience in many parts of the veterinary clinic but loves to be in reception at the front-line, building relationships with our clients. She has always had a passion for animals. That did come to bloom until entering this field of support, care, and devotion for your four-legged family members. In her free time she likes to watch her favorite tv shows with her cat, Castiel, spend time with her family and finding new places to explore. 

In 2021, Miranda graduated from Pierce College with her veterinary technician license. Avenue Veterinary Clinic was lucky to find her and we quickly added her to our team! She is passionate about anesthesia and surgery. When she isn't busy saving animal lives, she loves to spend her free time with her dog, reading and camping!

Bronte joined the AVC team in 2022 as a veterinary assistant and has been in the field since 2015. She has experience assisting surgeries, emergency care, and general practice. She's passionate about the physical and mental wellbeing of all of her patients. Vet visits can be scary for any pet, so her goal is to help your pet feel safe and comfortable. From warm blankets, hugs and kisses, to carrying them around in her pocket (if they're small enough), anything to get them purring or their tails wagging!

Hailing from the Midwest, MacKenzie came to us in September 2022. While her hair color changes often, her passion as an assistant has never faltered. MacKenzie has been in the field for 5 years and is continuing to show compassion for every animal in her care. In her free time, MacKenzie enjoys reading, going on adventures and spending time with her English Bulldog and 3 orange kitties.

Although Peyton hasn't been in the field for very long, she is quickly becoming an assistant superstar! She hails from Michigan originally, and moved to Washington and started her career in veterinary medicine in 2022. Outside of work, you'll find Peyton hanging out with her cat, Miller. She also enjoys reading and is a huge sports fan!
